The Benefits of the Live-In:

Boys in 5th class who might be considering boarding or day-boarding at Glenstal Abbey School are invited to register for the Live-In, which starts at 3:00 pm on Monday 16th August and ends at 12:00 noon on Wednesday 18th.

During their stay, the boys will immerse themselves in a busy schedule:

• Fun-filled and action-packed three days with lots of activities
• A comprehensive tour of the School and Abbey grounds comprising of a Norman Revivalist Castle set in 500 acres of parkland, woodland, rivers and lakes
• Many indoor and outdoor activities and team-based events to introduce the boys to each other and the routines of boarding life at Glenstal
• The boys will eat in the school refectories, sleep in the Junior House dormitories and participate in all of the routines and activities that a full-time boarder would experience as a student in Glenstal Abbey School
• This is a wonderful way for your son to have any questions he or you may have answered, meet many of the staff and discover the sports, extracurricular activities and subjects provided by the School
• It is an excellent way for your son to meet the boys who may be his future classmates and friends in advance of starting secondary school
• Please note €150 charge will be payable to secure your son's place for the Three-Day Live-In. This fee will be assigned as a credit to your son's account if you progress your son's application for 1st Year 2022.
